Sacha Nairobi has one of those voices that make us tremble with love and desire, filling us with laughter and irony, knowing that life as it is, can be sung.
She was born in Venezuela to a well respected musical family. Since her first days she has been surrounded by poetry, music, dance and theater and has always had something to communicate through her art. Sacha Nairobi is a songwriter that lives and breathes through music. Her messages of everyday life and intimate issues come from a woman of great sensibility, delivered in a festive tone even if they can make you cry.
Sacha Nairobi has been living in Miami for six years and feels grateful to this multicultural city that has given her the opportunity to grow as a singer songwriter.
Her self titled debut album (2006) is a collection of intense tracks surrounded with poetry and lead by the nostalgic sound of her fellow instrument, (the "Venezuelan Cuatro"). This album was produced by Germán Ortiz, a talented Colombian who's list of credits includes Desmond Child, Ricky Martin and Al Dimeola to name a few.
When it comes to her music, there are a variety of rhythms that move us; the festive ones, the melancholic ones, the intimate ones and those filled with the irony of losing a lover to a fake blond called “Raquel”. Her deep sensuality celebrates the joys of skin on skin touch in the songs “Que Rico Me Amas” and “Nadie Mejor que Tu”. Her moving song, “La Loteria” touches on a social issue that concerns those who have come to this country from other lands. Each lyric takes us there and brings us back with a delicious flow of melody.
The first reaction as one listens to her work, is to smile from ear to ear and if it wasn’t enough, Sacha Nairobi is also a real treat to watch on stage. Visually she is right there with you, practically bursting with the energy of each second of her songs. If there are complete albums made up of just hits, this is one of them, and each one of her eleven tracks is a great reason to listen and enjoy.

Saludos y buena onda =) U.N.O.
Hey Sacha... WELCOME ABOARD & THANKS!!! Whatever you do, don't shut off the lights or stop the music, and always remember to "PASS IT FORWARD" when someone's in need!
